UNS – Students of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta made another proud achievement on the international stage. This achievement was presented by Dea Muthia Febry and Rahma Dewi Arifah. Both of them are students of the Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta.
Dea and the team won the Silver Award at the Thailand Inventors Day event organized by the National Research Council of Thailand in Bangkok Thailand. For this achievement, Dea and the team were very grateful.
Meanwhile, the idea that Dea and the team innovated was in the form of technology-based learning media for students with mental retardation by using ultrasonic sensors to read body movements.
“After successfully bringing home the championship, i surely feel very happy. Besides, participating in this competition is my first debut in an international competition and I am grateful to be able to bring home a silver medal,” Dea said when contacted by uns.ac.id on Tuesday (6/6/2023).
Furthermore, Dea said that the tip to being able to win the championship is that we need to understand products that are highly competitive and have been tested. In this way, we can convey to the jury our ideas in detail and convince them that product innovation has an effective impact on development goals.
“In the future, we hope to continue to make UNS proud in other prestigious competitions. Keep enthusiast for UNS students, especially those who are still new students. You can start looking for things that you are interested in and want to work on, so that later you can produce achievements,” Dea concluded. Humas UNS
