UNS – Another great achievement is made by the students of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta in the Youth Economic Competition 2.0 organized by Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara on Sunday (8/3/2020) to Friday (13/3/2020).
The UNS team, which consist of two students from the Transfer program in Undergraduate of Economic Development 2019 Avina Utari and Riza Indah Pramesti, has successfully won the second place in the Youth Economic Competition 2., with research entitle “IKAN” (Fisheries Export Information) as Indonesia Fisheries Resource Information Media in the Industrial Revolution 4.0. They were interested to participate in the competition because the theme of the competition is in line with their study.
“Because the competition is aligned perfectly with our study program, the economic development,” said Avina to the uns.ac.id team on Saturday (28/3/2020).
In this competition, they establish a concept in fisheries export application that covers several features. The features are export procedures, regulation, and product innovation, as well as various materials that can be studied by the fishermen in Indonesia.
“We made a concept application on export procedures. Especially, because our application is (focused) on fisheries products, therefore, there will be several features. The first is related with the export itself, what is the export procedure if the product exported is fish and it will be adjusted with the country of destination, thus, there will be many destination countries,” said Avina.
Further, Avina added that the second feature will be related to the regulation. The regulation in the country of destination will cover the documents needed.
With this fisheries export procedure application, it is expected that the concept can bring benefits and a positive impact on many people. This includes the fishermen who can learn product innovation provided in the application. Humas UNS/Zalfaa
