UNS — Another proud achievement is accomplished by Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta students after winning 1st place in Short Video Competition ‘Achieving Creativity and Time Management in New Normal’. This national competition was held by the Student Association in Management Program (Himaprosma) Faculty of Law and Business Universitas Duta Bangsa (UDB) Surakarta on Saturday (30/1/2021) – Sunday (7/2/2021).
Four UNS students who won this achievement comes from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP): Yokanang Chandra Arfiansyah from the Natural Science Education Program class of 2018, Alvin Kurniawan from Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Program (PTIK) class of 2019, Salsabilla Aliyah from Natural Science Education Program class of 2019, and Salsabila Noor Assyfa from Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program class of 2019.
When contacted by the uns.ac.id team, Salsabila said she is happy and surprised with their achievement. Salsabila and her three fellows submitted 6 minutes and 9 seconds video made in two days in the competition. Their video titled ‘Optimalkan Waktumu, Pandemi Tetap Produktif’ (Optimize Your Time, Stay Productive Amid the Pandemic) was uploaded to Himaprosma UDB YouTube channel for assessment. The video invited its viewers to stay productive amid the pandemic.
“We invited our fellow students to stay productive and achieve our dream even in the pandemic,” Salsabila explained about their video content.
Salsabila admitted that she and her friends wanted to fill their free time with productive activities. Behind their achievement, there are efforts they took, such as video shoot during rainfall because this is their first experience. Representing her friends, Salsabila hopes that they can continue developing their skills and participate in other competitions.
“Continue to improve and participate in the next competitions,” Salsabila concluded. Humas UNS
