UNS— Institute for Educational Quality Development and Assurance (Lembaga Pengembangan dan Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan – LPPMP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta through the Centre for Quality Assurance System Development (Pusat Pengembangan Sistem Manajemen Mutu – PPSMM) conducted a program socialization and assistance to improve excellent quality assurance through Internal Quality Assurance System (Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal – SPMI) strengthening program, national accreditation, international accreditation, and monitoring and evaluation. The improvement of the UNS excellent accreditation program was launched and socialized in early 2020 by PPSMM.
According to Dr. Muhammad Rohmadi, as a Field Coordinator of National Accreditation, the strengthening and acceleration of the UNS Excellent Accreditation program must become the target of all Head of Program in Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral level, as well as the vocational school. Therefore, the Head of LPPMP UNS, Prof. Nunuk Suryani, strengthen PPSMM team led by Inayati, Ph.D. from the Faculty of Engineering (FT) assisted by four Field Coordinators; National Accreditation Coordinator, Muhammad Rohmadi from FKIP, Korbid Akreditasi Internasional, Indah from FKIP; SPMI coordinator, Anjar from the Faculty of Law (FH), and Monev coordinator, Dr. Florentina Pungky from FT.
“By strengthening the PPSMM team, it is expected that the acceleration to realize quality assurance into a quality culture which in turn will support the effort in achieving Excellent Accreditation for UNS can be achieved,” explained Rohmadi, Wednesday (8/1/2020).
To support the acceleration program, the Coordinator for National Accreditation conducted socialization and “blusukan” to Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Math and Science (FMIPA) on Wednesday (8/1/2020) and Quality Control Cluster (Gugus Kendali Mutu – GKM) of Doctoral Program (S-3) of Legal Studies to conduct assistance in preparing Study Program Performance Report (Laporan Kinerja Program Studi – LKPS) and Self-Evaluation Report (Laporan Evaluasi Diri – LED) 9 criteria for National Accreditation for Study program by BAN-PT.
Besides, PPSMM LPPMP UNS will launch a quality assurance information system that will support the Head of Study Program to gather quantitative data for LKPS filling and materials for LED descriptions.
“PPSMM LPPMP UNS will launch Quality Clinic program that will assist UNS internal assessors to improve and achieve Excellent Accreditation for UNS using the 9-criteria instrument from BAN-PT,” stated Rohmadi. HUMAS UNS/DWI
