UNS – Student enrolment in State Universities (PTN) through Joint Entrace Test for State Universities (SBMPTN) is officially started today, Tuesday (4/11/2017), at 08.00 WIB (GMT +7). Students who missed the opportunity to join SNMPTN can join SBMPTN. In addition to SBMPTN, student enrolment can be carried out through another two paths: National Selection for State Universities Admission (SNMPTN) and Independent Examination.
There are two types of SBMPTN test: Paper-based Test (PBT) and Comouter-based Test (CBT), conducted for any students graduating in 2015, 2016, and 2017 from high school (SMA/SMK/MA), including Package C students. Students from low-income families can also enrol for Bidikmisi program through SBMPTN.

If they pass the selection, tuition will be covered by Ministry until they finish the undergraduate study.
Ravik mentioned that SBMPTN registration is conducted by 85 state universities across Indonesia, including ISI and ISBI. The goverment has prepared a quota of 30.000 students spread over 75 state universities in Indonesia for CBT test. As the the number of new state universities increases every year, SBMPTN capacity is increased year by year, from 115.788 seats in 2015 to 126.804 seats in 2016.
