UNS — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta received a visit from Universitas Tidar (Untidar) Magelang. The Untidar team, led by its Rector, Prof. Dr. Sugiyarto, M.Sc., was warmly welcomed by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum., Acting Vice Rector for General Affairs and Human Resources UNS, Dr. E. Muhtar, S.Pd., M.Sc., Secretary of the UNS Academic Senate, Prof. Ir. Ari Handono Ramelan, M.Sc. (Hons)., Ph.D., Secretary of UNS, Dr. Drajat Tri Kartono, M.Sc., and Director of the Directorate of Finance and Asset Optimization UNS, Taufiq Arifin, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D, Ak., in the Meeting Room 1 dr. Prakosa Building, UNS, Tuesday (8/8/2023).
UNS Rector, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum., warmly welcomed the Untidar team. “I would like to welcome the Rector of Untidar, Prof. Sugiyarto. For him, Prof. Sugiyarto is no stranger to UNS, as he comes from UNS. So, when he wants to visit UNS, I am very pleased,” Prof. Jamal explained.
Prof. Jamal added that UNS is very open to universities that want to learn about UNS’ experiences, ranging from its transformation from a public service agency (BLU) to a state legal entity university (PTNBH). “This includes the purpose of Untidar’s visit to UNS, which is to plan the transformation of Untidar from a Satker to a BLU. Of course, with UNS’ experience from 2009 to 2020 as a BLU, there is much that can be conveyed and shared to help Untidar become a BLU soon,” Prof. Jamal explained.
Meanwhile, Untidar Rector, Prof. Dr. Sugiyarto, M.Sc., expressed his gratitude to the Rector of UNS and his staff for warmly welcoming the Untidar team. “Thank you for welcoming us warmly.
