Methylene Blue or MB is one of the most widely used dyes as base color and it also has good solubility. In the industrial process, the use of methylene blue is only about 5% while the 95% remaining is wasted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on that phenomenon, three students of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Universitas Sebelas Maret (FMIPA UNS) Surakarta, namely Syahna Febrianastuti (2014), Elsa Ninda Karlinda Putri (2014), and Uly Wulan Apriani (2015) created synthesis and application biomaterials of methylene blue dye absorption by eco-bio technique (electrochemical adsorption).<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13775\" src=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/SUPER-BIA-CO-AL.jpg\" alt=\"SUPER BIA CO-AL\" width=\"1280\" height=\"803\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/SUPER-BIA-CO-AL.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/SUPER-BIA-CO-AL-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/SUPER-BIA-CO-AL-768x482.jpg 768w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/SUPER-BIA-CO-AL-1024x642.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/SUPER-BIA-CO-AL-320x202.jpg 320w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/SUPER-BIA-CO-AL-200x125.jpg 200w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/SUPER-BIA-CO-AL-400x251.jpg 400w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/SUPER-BIA-CO-AL-600x376.jpg 600w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/SUPER-BIA-CO-AL-800x502.jpg 800w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/SUPER-BIA-CO-AL-1200x753.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They implemented new technologies that are environmentally friendly, inexpensive, and effective to reduce pollution levels called BIA-GOAL (Bioadsorben Graphene Oxide-Alginate). BIA-GOAL uses alginate material that can be obtained from seaweed.
