On Thursday (9\/19\/2019) two students of Statistic Department 2016, Faculty of Mathematics and Science (FMIPA), Akbar Maulana and Andika Putri Ratnasari successfully achieved runner-up in \u201cStatistic in Action (Enthusiastic Competition) Universitas Islam Indonesia\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Akbar mentioned that joining in various statistical Olympiad was considered as his devotion to UNS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI have joined several statistical Olympiads. It is my fifth achievement. Besides maintaining the reputation of UNS Statistic Department to get more achievements, I want to share my knowledge with Indonesian masters of statistics and bound more connections,\u201d Akbar mentioned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 2019 Enthusiastic Competition is a national Statistical Olympiad for bachelor and diploma students of Statistic Program, having two steps of competitions which are Statistic in Action (data analysis) and Info-graphic Competition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis national statistical Olympiad is joined by various universities in Indonesia including STIS Polytechnic of Statistics. There are two steps which are online elimination and final round located in UII,\u201d Akbar explained.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Previously, Akbar had successfully obtained several achievements of Statistical Olympiad. Among them are third place in National Statistical Analysis Week conducted in Universitas Mulawarman, bronze medal of Padjajaran Statistical Olympiad in Universitas Padjajaran, Finalist of National Statistic Competition in Bandung Agricultural Institute, and Finalist of Statistical Olympiad Edufest in STIS. Furthermore, he will join the 2019 Padajaran National Statistical Olympiad and Sebelas Maret Statistic Olympiad in October.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cHereafter, I want to always be an achiever.
