The event was held in Yannaty Hat Yai Hotel, Thailand (11\/12-14\/2019).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The team consisted of Muhammad Bintang Pratama and Rizal Irvan Amin. In the international-scale conference, they presented their paper entitled `Pro Cons the Policy Involvement of Foreign Airlines in Indonesia Domestic Flight Routes (International and National Law Perspectives)&#8217;.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Muhammad Bintang Pratama said, this event was organized by Indonesian Student Association in Thailand (Permitha) and fully supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Bangkok and the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Songkla \u2013 collaborated with Prince of Songkla University of Thailand \u2013. The 7<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> AASIC is the annual event conducted by Permitha when this year&#8217;s theme is `Asia Toward The 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, A Transformation Between Local Wisdom and Globalization`.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;So, the competition that we took part in was a paper presentation focused on the five sub-themes which were Food Security, Sustainable Energy and Natural Resources, Economic and Industrial Innovation, Human Community Development, last but not least Human Rights and Democracy. Thank God, we achieved Best Paper in the category of Human Rights and Democracy. This event was attended by total of 165 delegates in 70 teams from more than 13 countries,&#8221; Muhammad Bintang explained (11\/22).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bintang further said that the paper discussed issues that had boomed in the society which were related to the proposal of government policy in involving foreign airlines as domestic service providers in an effort to reduce the high-ticket prices for domestic flight routes in Indonesia. It was analyzed based on the economic perspective as well as the international and national laws.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By this result, he is expected to be more active in participating in similar events in the form of international competition and conference to make the name of his beloved alma mater in general and family in particular.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Hopefully, this achievement can be used as our motivation to challenge and achieve more in the future in order to encourage the enthusiasm of friends [UNS students] in improving the climate of scientific competition in UNS,&#8221; he stated. <\/span><b><i>Humas UNS\/Dwi\/Try<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UNS \u2013 Students of Faculty of Law (FH) University of Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta won Best Paper on the category of Human Rights and Democracy in the `7th Asian Academic Society International Conference (AASIC)`.
