{"id":15489,"date":"2020-01-22T15:12:49","date_gmt":"2020-01-22T08:12:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/?p=15489"},"modified":"2020-01-22T15:12:49","modified_gmt":"2020-01-22T08:12:49","slug":"uns-students-from-architecture-department-won-the-ui-afair-championship-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/uns-students-from-architecture-department-won-the-ui-afair-championship-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"UNS Students from Architecture Department Won the UI AFAIR Championship 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>UNS<\/strong> \u2013 The beginning of 2020 is started brightly through the achievement of the students from Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering (FT), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) in Architecture UI Fair (AFAIR) championship, which held in the Architecture Department of Universitas Indonesia (UI) on Friday (17\/01\/2020).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Through competition in design to overcome the problem faced by Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) users, the students of Architecture Study Program FT UNS that consist of Pandu Nazarrusadi, Ramzy Aprialzy, and Rendra Kusuma has successfully got the runner-up position.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cFrom all competitors, in the big 5 there were us that represent UNS, a team from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Yogyakarta, Universitas Katolik Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY), Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta (UTY), and another representative from Jakarta namely Universitas Tarumanegara (Untar). We got the runner-up position,\u201d said Pandu Nazarrusadi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In the competition organized by the Association of Architecture Student UI, the three students of UNS establish a new concept entitled \u2018Halo: Save Havens for a Busy City&#8217; as an effort to make train user, especially MRT, to feel comfortable during their travel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cThe case given was how to address the condition and habit of the commuters (red: MRT user) in this case MRT, as a new blooming transportation mode. Our design is thematic and modular, which means this design can be applied anywhere contextually depending on the chosen location,\u201d Pandu added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">When asked about the reason for the selection of the title \u2018Halo: Save Havens for a Busy City\u2019 Pandu answered that \u2018Halo\u2019 is an illustration of angel\u2019s ring (ring halo), that aims to reduce the potential for burnout experienced by MRT users to be detoxified.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cFrom our title \u2018Halo\u2019 describes its shape that looks like an angel\u2019s ring (ring halo). Therefore, the objective was to transform the commuter who spend their time inside Halo to be less stressed, depressed, or to detoxify the toxicity (stress, depression, both physical and psychological) within the commuter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Pandu also explained that the design of \u2018Halo: Save Havens for a Busy City\u2019 consist of four types. One of the \u2018Halo\u2019 rooms is designed for the commuter to eat and rest.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cThe \u2018Halo\u2019 room is designed for 4 types. First, the Halo, Let\u2019s Talk room is a place to meet and converse as well as private room, second \u2018Halo, Let\u2019s Eat is a place to eat, rest, and relaxing, third Halo, Let\u2019s Watch is an exhibition and display space, and the last Halo, Let\u2019s Listen is music area,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Further, the students expect that the \u2018Halo\u2019 design can help to anticipate the passenger density on the train, especially in MRT.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cMoreover, we try to anticipate the condition in MRT to be less severe than the condition in KRL,\u201d Pandu closed. <em><strong>Humas UNS\/ Yefta<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UNS \u2013 The beginning of 2020 is started brightly through the achievement of the students from Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering (FT), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) in Architecture UI Fair (AFAIR) championship, which held in the Architecture Department of Universitas Indonesia (UI) on Friday (17\/01\/2020).
