{"id":15928,"date":"2020-03-25T17:56:29","date_gmt":"2020-03-25T10:56:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/?p=15928"},"modified":"2020-03-25T17:56:29","modified_gmt":"2020-03-25T10:56:29","slug":"wonderful-uns-wins-first-place-on-national-economic-debate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wonderful-uns-wins-first-place-on-national-economic-debate\/","title":{"rendered":"Wonderful: UNS Wins First Place on National Economic Debate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>UNS<\/strong> \u2013Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta Debate Team managed to carve out brilliant achievements at the national debate competition of the Indonesian Economic Education Student Association (Imapesi) held at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka (UHAMKA) East Jakarta on Friday &#8211; Saturday (6-8\/3\/2020).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In this competition, UNS sent two representative teams that came from Economics Education Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP); team A and team B. Team A consists of Evieliana Putri Utami, Mohammad Amin Yusuf, and Kamsu Aji Wiguna won the first place, while team B which consists of Wannurizzati Zulhazlinda, Anggun Bella S, and Faizah N.A won the first runner up. In this competition, Evieliana from Team A got the best speaker award.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The national debate competition was held for students of Economics Education Program. There were ten teams from nine universities that joined this competition: UNS, UHAMKA, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), Universitas Mulawarman (Unmul), Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH), Universitas Islam Syekh Yusuf, Universitas Pamulang (Unpam), Universitas Soedirman (Unsoed), and Universitas Jember (Unej).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The theme of the debate is not far-fetched from education and economics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cBecause it is specifically for economic education, the theme is education and economics,\u201d stated Kamsu when contacted by uns.ac.id team, Saturday (14\/3\/2020)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The teams need two weeks of training before the competition. Kamsu admitted that during the first week, the teams learned about debate techniques. In the second week, they focused on preliminary motion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cTraining for about two weeks, the first week we train on technique, the second week (we) focused on preliminary motion,\u201d Kamsu explained.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In the future, Kamsu and friends expected that they will be able to maintain the position achieved by UNS and to provide a good influence on all concerned parties.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cBecause this Imapresi competition is held annually, and Alhamdulillah UNS always win, (we) hope in the future we can maintain the position and give good influence to all,\u201d Kamsu wished. <em><strong>Humas UNS\/Zalfaa<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UNS \u2013Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta Debate Team managed to carve out brilliant achievements at the national debate competition of the Indonesian Economic Education Student Association (Imapesi) held at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka (UHAMKA) East Jakarta on Friday &#8211; Saturday (6-8\/3\/2020).
