Aside from increasing the quota, BI also prolongs the collaboration in a scholarship program with UNS until 2022.<br \/>\nResponding to this, the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, was grateful for the attention given by BI to UNS students. Special thanks from Prof. Jamal was given to Bambang Pramono as the Head of Regional Representative Office BI in Surakarta.<br \/>\n\u201cI need to thank Mr. Bambang Pramono for giving appreciation to UNS students,\u201d express Prof. Jamal when serving as a speaker in Leader\u2019s Talk &amp; Mini Talk Show entitled \u2018Millennial Become a Billionaire Together with Jouska\u2019, on Thursday (18\/6\/2020).<br \/>\nProf. Jamal is grateful that the collaboration in the scholarship program with the BI can continue. This year, the collaboration has reached its third year since it started in 2018. In the first year, there were 50 UNS students who received BI Scholarship, this continues to the following year in 2019. Meanwhile, in 2020, 25 students are added to the recipients of the scholarship, thus in total, there are 75 students.<br \/>\nProf. Jamal hopes this collaboration with BI can continue and improve. \u201cI hope that this collaboration will not be stopped and can be sustainable. I hope the UNS students who receive scholarships from BI can use the scholarship properly to improve their performance, especially their knowledge regarding central banking. I also hope that the students who receive the scholarships can also help and serve BI,\u201d said Prof. Jamal.<br \/>\nWhen encountered in dr. Prakosa Rectory Building, the Chief of Students and Alumni Bureau UNS, Drs. Rohman Agus Pratomo, explains that his party has received hundreds of applications. From this number, the Students and Alumni Bureau will organize an administrative selection to choose the best 100 applicants.<br \/>\n\u201cFirst, we open registration in accordance with the established criteria. We select administratively to choose 100 applicants. The 100 applicants will be sent to BI to be selected for the 75 recipients. Because there are more than 100 applications, we will also hold an assessment. This mean, BI will receive the best selection and only need to do a further selection,\u201d he explains.<br \/>\nDrs. Rohman Agus Pratomo also mentioned that start from the registration process to administrative selection will be conducted through an online system following the condition during the ongoing Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.<br \/>\nThe students who passed this year&#8217;s selection process, there will be various facilities, start from knowledge on the central bank to the opportunity to increase their capacity in the form of gatherings.
