The event entitled \u2018Success Story: Business Strategy Approaching New Normal\u2019 presents two speakers who are young entrepreneurs from UNS. The two speakers are Fiska Amanda the owner of <em>\u2018Bronis Lur\u2019<\/em> and Jalu Pralambang Indiana the owner of <em>\u2018Indiana Kebab\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This event is attended by 35 active participants and moderated by Dyah Yuni Kurniawati, a PPKwu UNS Peer group member. Also present during the event, the Head of PPKwu UNS, Susantiningrum, M.AB. The new normal that has been implemented includes several changes that must be made by business actors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Jalu Pralambang Indiana explains that in conducting business entrepreneur must be tough because they will definitely face a lot of challenges. \u201cWe need to have the right mindset, for example in opening a business and the product is not selling well, then we must introspect what makes our product become less attractive to the market. Starting a business can be started from home because it does not need to spend a lot of capital,\u201d he explains.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Other than that, entrepreneurs must choose between two options quick profit but a small turnover and big profit but slow turnover.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In business, Jalu also mentioned that in general business can be divided into three categories commodities, trends, and specific business. \u201cCommodity business is a business that provides daily needs, needs a huge capital but the margin is small. And then, there is trend business, for example, culinary business, which attracts people, that have a quite high margin. Lastly, specific business, for example, soap product, this means we produce a different product such as acne soap. The margin from this business is way higher than other business,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Fiska Amanda mentioned that <em>Bronis Lur<\/em>&#8216;s business had dimmed since the pandemic started. However, this has not lasted long, as she kept trying to innovate, thus the products can be sold in the market even though everything is done online.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>Bronis Lur<\/em> is a business established by Fiska since 2017 under the supervision of the Student Entrepreneurship Program UNS. Currently, she uses online marketing because the sales traffic through the online system during the pandemic is higher, due to the restricted movement of the community. She also shares tips in starting a business, which is we may not feel inferior even if you do not have the capital.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cPeople are hesitant to do something because of capital, even though we have the potential. Our body parts are capital, thus, whatever is the condition we should keep on doing, it depends on ourselves.
