This event is a series of Agrixplosion 2020 under the theme of Agricultural Extension Planning Some Innovation. HM Pelita invited five speakers, the Head of BPPSDMP Ministry of Agriculture, Prof. Dedi Nursyamsyi, People and Culture Manager TaniHub Group, Erick Warisandy, Temanggung Agricultural and Food Resilience Office, Sumarno, S.P., OISCA TC Karanganyar, Mulyono Herlambang, and Faculty Member of Agricultural Counseling and Communication FP UNS, Widiyanto, Ph.D.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The webinar was attended by around 2,000 participants who joined through Zoom Meeting application or YouTube live stream. Prof. Dedi Nursyamsyi delivered the first material on the development of agricultural human resources to support national food resilience. He explained that in the pandemic, Indonesia agricultural system suffers great disruption. The pandemic has obstructed the food supply, decreasing agricultural products demand, triggering the threat of food crisis, and limitation in global food exports. Additionally, FHO also predicts that there will be drought which in turn will demand us to perform food diversification.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The development of the agricultural system to realize the food security in Indonesia can be implemented through a national movement which includes increasing productivity, production, and export; increasing husbandry population; human resource development; and the implementation of the agricultural mechanism through agricultural expansion. Agricultural development will provide food for 267 people, improve farmer\u2019s welfare, and increase food export. The objectives of agricultural development can be achieved through <em>kostratani<\/em>, a center for development based on Information Technology. Kostratani is expected to improve food quality and develop our agriculture in the future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Sumarno, S.P. from Temanggung Agricultural and Food Resilience Office explained the agricultural human resource management and contribution to the perspective of wawasan nusantara (archipelagic knowledge). Limited human resources and low young generation\u2019s interest in agriculture might lead to the in competitive agricultural products, especially in the international market. The strategic objective to anticipate the problem is increasing the productivity of superior commodities of food crops, horticulture, and estate crops, improving the quality of counselling, increasing the number of productive employees in the agricultural sector, and empowering farmer-based agribusiness.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The next speaker, Widiyanto, Ph.D. added on the adaptive and innovative human resources in agriculture. The adaptive human resource will pay attention to social, economic, and environmental changes in solving market turmoil, weather changes, and pest attacks while maintaining resilience towards changes. Innovativeness is important to pay attention to the changes in agricultural development, the change in knowledge system, and new agriculture.
