The event was attended by 200 participants from various universities in Indonesia. Himafarma invited three speakers, Dr. Nanang Munif Yasin, Asri Riswiyanti, M.Sc., and Solichah Rohmani, M.Sc.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dr. Nanang Munif Yasin, the Head of Pharmaceutical Science Program Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) said that the pharmaceutical sector was able to contribute to handling Covid-19. A pharmacist can give their best efforts in conducting research to provide alternative solutions to the pandemic. A pharmacist also can give their best services while applying health protocol and professional ethics, as well as developing collaboration and synergy with research institute and industry to develop a vaccine and clinical test of Covid-19 drugs. He also added that the pharmacists also can provide education and community services in their respective region.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Solichah Rohmani, M.Sc. a Faculty Member of Diploma Program in Pharmacy delivered material on the Contribution of Diploma Program in Pharmacy SV UNS, particularly in the academic field. The online learning process in UNS is conducted through independent and guided learning using diverse learning sources and a combination of digital learning materials in various formats, media, and sources. Besides, utilizing learning media based on information and communication technology. Through effective learning, it is expected that Pharmacy student can become excellent pharmaceutical personnel that ready to contribute to the community and the country.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Asri Riswiyanti, M.Sc. the Head of the Pharmacy Installation of the Central General Hospital (RSUP) Dr. Sardjito, Yogyakarta. She stated that the pharmaceutical field has an important role in Covid-19 handling in the pharmaceutical industry and the pharmacists. In term of logistic management, pharmaceutical has a role in selecting, planning, procurement, receipt and storage, distribution, removal, control, and administration of drugs. Planning is an activity to determine the quantity and period for procurement of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices and medical consumables. This needs to be adjusted to the result of selection activity to reach efficiency.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This can be divided into several phases, the initial phase that consists of procurement, logistical data collection, calculation of availability, and reporting to the Task Force team. Data collection on the needs of Covid-19 handling and stock calculation aims to determine the ability of the hospital in handling Covid-19.
