The webinar was held through Zoom Meeting takes the theme of The Synergy of the Interfaith Youth Generation in Realizing Pancasila Values. UNS invited four speakers, Prof. Bondan Tiara Sofyan, Prof. Yudha Triguna, Prof. Faruk, and Yusuf Hermawan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The webinar was also attended by the Rector of UNS Prof. Jamal Wiwoho who provided an opening remark. Prof. Jamal said that a campus which is inhabited by millions of intellectuals should be able to function as a nursery for noble Indonesian values in the context of upholding the 4 pillars of nationality. The four pillars of nationality are Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, Bhineka Tunggal Ika and The Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Prof. Bondan Tiara Sofyan, the Director-General of Defense Potential, Ministry of Defense delivered material on civil defense activities. He stated that state defense is all efforts to defend the sovereignty of the country, the territorial integrity of the Republic of Indonesia, and the safety of the entire nation from threats and disturbances to the integrity of the nation and state. The state faces various types of threats in the form of military threats, aggression and non-aggression, and non-military threats in the form of terrorism, radicalism, separatism, natural disaster, plague, and theft of natural resources. Prof. Bondan added that the community currently aware of Sishankamrata system which means that all components of the state, the populace, regions, and resources are involved in stated defense. State defense awareness is people\u2019s awareness that they need to defend the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Prof. Yudha Triguna, a sociologist of Universitas Hindu Indonesia delivered material on the synergy of the young generation across religions. He stated that diversity can enrich life and has a positive impact on various tribes, religions, and traditions. He mentioned that a person should understand their surrounding environment, culture, religion, and local customs and traditions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The third material was delivered by Prof. Faruk humanist and writer from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). He conveyed the meaning of the precepts in Pancasila. The first principle means that Indonesians believe in God, have faith, and pious. Meanwhile, the last speaker, Yusuf Hermawan stated that currently there are many challenges in implementing Pancasila values.
