This event is conducted gradually from July to August 2020. Previously, similar event was conducted in Masjid Baiturahim field, Surakarta on Wednesday (15\/7\/2020) by implementing health protocols.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dr. Hanik Liskustyawati, M.Kes as the team leader, with Dr. Sri Santoso Sabarini, M.Or., Dr. Slamet Riyadi, M.Or., Drs. Tri Aprilijanto Utomo, M.Kes., Ph.D., Drs. Waluyo, M.Or.; Drs. Sarjoko Lelono, M.Kes., Drs. Agus Mukholid, M.Pd., Mansyuralhudhori, S.pd, M.Or. and Abdul Aziz Purnomo Shidiq, M.Pd. as team members, explained that this community service is conducted as a follow up for the study entitled \u201cThe Analysis on The Level of Physical Fitness for the Elderly at the Healthy Heart Club in Surakarta\u201d. The focus of this event is the assistance of test and measurement for physical fitness of Healthy Heart Club Surakarta members, which is joined by 83 people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Departing from the inadequacy of physical fitness measurements for the elderly and other professions, which leads to the results that do not represent the real situation, the community service program was held to solve the problem. Specifically, the team also found that the limited number of trainer and doctor KJSI Surakarta hindered the implementation of a fitness test to the members, particularly when the club has new members.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cThis event aims to provide assistance and the procedures to carry out the test so that the elderly can implement the test alone at home or in a healthy heart club together,\u201d Dr. Hanik stated on Wednesday (16\/9\/2020).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Several activities performed by the team are delivering material on physical fitness concerning health, the procedures to implement measurement test for elderly physical fitness (for example rockport 1.6 km test), the procedure to measure pulse and its benefits in training, and the types of physical activities that can be performed individually and in the group. Considering the pandemic, the elderly cannot exercise and to reduce physical contact, the community service team encourage that participants perform domestic activities that meet the FITT (Frequency, Intensity, Time, Type) criteria. Frequency means how often the activity is performed, how many days in a week. It is recommended that the elderly perform physical activities for at least 30 minutes with a moderate intensity almost every day in a week. To participate in activities like walking, gardening, and doing light and funhouse chores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The event was conducted in collaboration with students.
