He encourages programs to improve management and accelerate to obtain international accreditation. This encouragement was conveyed after the cycling event with the university executive board, deans, and academic staff in \u201cGowes Sehat Bebas Emisi\u201d (free emission cycling) event held in the Faculty of Economics Parking Lot, Friday (4\/12\/2020) morning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Prof. Jamal mentioned that after UNS was designated as University with Legal Entity (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Berbadan Hukum &#8211; PTN BH) through the Governmental Decree (PP) Number 56 of 2020, it is appropriate that UNS maintain and improve its educational quality. The encouragement is not limited to programs with A-level accreditation but also for programs with B-level accreditation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cThe spirit of PTN BH should not stop at national achievements, but we hope that UNS has international accreditation. Once more, I stated that accreditation is important for us. If we are satisfied with A-level accreditation, that is for PTN BLU (university). Therefore, programs with B-level accreditation should aim for A, and those with A-level accreditation twice should aim for international accreditation,\u201d Prof. Jamal stated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Prof. Jamal said that according to the direction from the Directorate General Secretary (Sesditjen) of Higher Education (Dikti) Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) RI, there would be a great leap of public university quality improvement in 2021. This leap is the opportunity for Public University with Work Unit (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Satuan Kerja &#8211; PTN Satker) to accelerates into PTN BH. Relaying the information from Sesditjen Dikti, Prof. Jamal mentioned that there would be 10 new PTN BH in 2021. \u201cTherefore, what we planned in A-level accreditation should leap to the national accreditation\/certification,\u201d Prof Jamal added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Rector of UNS also demands the university executive board, deans, and academic staff of UNS to improve their quality, discipline, integrity, and prioritize institutional interests above personal interests in working. \u201cI encourage that the executive board should prioritize UNS. I hope they focus on UNS. I emphasized; no executive board is allowed to prioritize external (interests). I appreciate my vice-rectors who all prioritize UNS,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On this occasion, Prof. Jamal, accompanied by the Dean of FEB UNS, Prof. Djoko Suhardjanto, also inaugurated and reviewed the newest educational and sports facilities of FEB UNS.
