This webinar is available on Thursday (12\/12\/2020) through the Official LPS Youtube Channel and Zoom Cloud Meeting. Conducted under the grand title of \u2018LPS Back to Campus\u2019, this webinar invites Budi Joyo Santoso, Putra Pamungkas, Ph.D., and Sarita Sutedja as speakers, along with Nugroho Saputro, M.Ec.DEV as the moderator.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The webinar was started with a remark from Prof. Sajidan as the Vice-Rector of Partnership and Planning Affairs UNS, and Didi Prakoso as the Executive Director for Human Resource and Administrative LPS. \u201cHopefully, this webinar can help millennials to understand financial literacy and inspire students to be entrepreneurs that can drive the Indonesian economy,\u201d Didi states during his remark. He further added that there are four important aspects of financial planning namely saving, investment, health insurance, and pension fund.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The first speaker, Putra Pamungkas, Ph.D., delivers an introduction to banking 101. \u201cAccording to Regulation No 10 of 1998, as the amendments to Law number 7 of 1992 concerning banking, the bank is a business entity that collects funds from the public in the form of deposits and distributes them back to the community in the form of credit, or other forms. Intending to improve the standard of living of the people,\u201d he explains.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The second speaker, Budi Joyo Santoso as the Expert in LPS Training and Education Center, delivers material on the function and role of LPS in supporting the banking system stability. The most crucial aspect of LPS is to assure the public or bank customers regarding the safety of their deposit in the bank. \u201cThe duties of LPS are, first, to formulating and stipulating policies for the implementation of deposit insurance. Second, LPS has a role in formulating and stipulating the policy in implementing deposit insurance. Third, LPS carries out deposit insurance action. Fourth, LPS handles the management of a failed bank. Lastly, LPS takes part in stipulating and formulating policies to actively participate in maintaining the stability of the banking system,\u201d Budi Joyo Santoso explains.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The last speaker of the event is Sarita Sutedjo as the co-founder of foodizz shares her experiences regarding the culinary business. \u201cCulinary business in Indonesia has a great potential target market because the target will never cease. What I am talking about is, when I have a bakso brand and my colleague also establishes a bakso brand, it will be okay. There is nothing such as a winner and loser in this type of business.
