This indicator includes the number of alumni who get a job with appropriate income.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Responding to this target, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, as the Rector of UNS, explained the importance of the Career Development Center (CDC) UNS\u2019 role to accompany and facilitate students and alumni to enter their professional journey. CDC has a vital role because the university plans to assist students before they graduated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI leave a message for (UNS) alumnus, especially those who hold a post in national, local, and international companies. We hope that they can help in recruiting UNS alumni,\u201d Prof. Jamal conveyed when attending Wedangan IKA UNS, Wednesday (13\/1\/2021).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CDC UNS role was discussed further in Wedangan IKA UNS XL. Attending the event as speakers are Dr. Ir. Kusnandar, M.Si (Chief of CDC UNS), Ir. Agus Karianto, MM. (Director of Human Resources PT. Adhi Karya), and other UNS alumni. Opening the session, Dr. Kusnandar mentioned that CDC UNS acts as the \u201cbridge for career success\u201d. He also mentioned the CDC UNS role in assisting students in solving various challenges and uncertainty, such as the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The alumnus of the Agribusiness Program UNS stated that the Covid-19 pandemic causes decoupling or detachment from the past. Therefore, old ways have lost their potential or are no longer 100% reliable to forecast the increasingly complicated future. This development also means the shift into away and digital work. \u201cTechnology poses the greatest challenge to be mastered and demands analytical and strategic thinking for the future,\u201d Dr. Kusnandar explained.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Kusnandar also explained that CDC UNS has three roles: input, process, and output. At the input, the university and CDC UNS provide training for soft skills and hard skills and potential identification through a psychological test. In the output, CDC provides Pre-job Training and information on job offers. At the process level, CDC emphasizes the importance of a supportive academic climate for students and a curriculum that meets the demand for the job market. According to Dr. Kusnandar, the important part of the process stage is Kampus Merdeka\u2019s presence, in which industrial collaboration becomes a dominant keyword. He gave an example of an internship program in which students can take an internship for a semester. UNS alumni with business or post in a particular institution can help these students by mentoring them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Human Resources development does not stop at the university but will continue in the company. Human resources development at the workplace is discussed by Ir. Agus Karianto, MM, as the Director of Human Resources in PT. Adhi Karya, one of the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in Indonesia. The director explained the seven elements needed to develop human resources in SOEs and turn it into a talents factory. All SOEs have the same core values, EVP and employee branding, talent and succession management system, learning and development management system, reward and performance management system, human capital technology, and human capital data analytic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Appreciation for CDC UNS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event was also attended by UNS proud alumni who have pursued their professional careers with the help of CDC UNS. One of the alumni is Tya Rizky Noviani, who serves as Junior Supervisor for Non-Bank Financial Services in the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The alumnus of Industrial Engineering FT UNS delivered her appreciation for Dr. Kusnandar and team, who do not stop at providing career information but also verify the documents from the candidates thoroughly. CDC UNS, Tya added, is comprehensive in mitigating the risk at the administration selection.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the other hand, Tya also delivered a suggestion for the development of the CDC UNS program. One of the suggestions she delivered is on how to provide training while getting closer to students through various collaboration, creating YouTube content, speech, and other activities. She said that to communicate with students, the university needs to become a part of the students. \u201cYou can start with a mini-survey on the content and platform that attract student\u2019s interest nowadays,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Other alumni that were invited to share their experience are Tsania Ulil Albab Sugeng (PCPM 35 Bank Indonesia), Emanuel Agrica Dewanto (Branding Manager Assistant BRI Palopo), and Muhammad Zakky Alamsyah (Accounting and Finance Department of PT.
