UNS<\/strong> — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta students won 2nd place in the NICEFEST creative video competition Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes). These students are Ahmad Zamahsyar Wirakusuma, Monica Ramadhania An-nur, and Septian Abdurrofi, who are the students of Statistics Program Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science (FMIPA) UNS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supervised by Drs. Isnandar Slamet., M.Sc., Ph.D., their video titled \u201cSesal\u201d (regret) was developed based on their member\u2019s experience when they got infected by the Covid-19 virus because they did not follow the health protocol. \u201cBecause the theme was health pattern in the new normal era, we discussed the right healthy lifestyle amid the pandemic or the new normal,\u201d Ahmad Zamahsyar explained on Thursday (28\/10\/2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the video that tells the story of someone who got infected with Covid-19 due to their carelessness, a common behavior in society, Monica Ramadhania An-nur portrayed a Covid-19 patient who feels loneliness due to self-quarantine. The main character felt regret for not obeying the health protocols and having a healthy lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Statistics<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The story continued with the main character receiving a short message of a video on 5 tips for healthy life amid the new normal era. UNS students team shared several suggestions such as wearing a mask, exercising regularly, avoiding crowds, maintaining diet, washing hands, and cleaning after outdoor activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To the community, the team delivered important messages to be remembered. Ahmad Zamahsyar, as the team leader, believes that simple things such as consuming enough water and cleaning after outdoor activities help significantly to maintain health amid the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo matter how busy and how often we play outdoor or having (outdoor) activities, remember to maintain a healthy lifestyle,\u201d Ahmad Zamahsyar stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team was quite surprised with their achievement. They mentioned that they are happy with their result and that their personal experience discussed in the video brought them to be the winner. Humas UNS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
