{"id":34520,"date":"2022-04-23T16:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-23T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/?p=34520"},"modified":"2022-04-23T14:44:24","modified_gmt":"2022-04-23T07:44:24","slug":"chairman-of-uns-academic-senate-shared-limited-face-to-face-class-strategy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/chairman-of-uns-academic-senate-shared-limited-face-to-face-class-strategy\/","title":{"rendered":"Chairman of UNS Academic Senate Shared Limited Face-to-Face Class Strategy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/\">UNS<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 The Chairman of Academic Senate (SA) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Prof. Dr. Adi Sulistiyono, S.H., M.H., shared the strategy to implement limited face-to-face class sessions in the Webinar on Prevention Strategy for Covid-19 Cluster from Face-to-Face Class Session on Saturday (12\/3\/2022) as a part of UNS 46th Anniversary celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prof. Adi stated that limited face-to-face class session is urgent to be held considering the adverse social impact of the pandemic, including the learning loss that could pose greater risks in the long term. \u201cThe Covid-19 pandemic increases the risk of dropout because children are forced to work to help their families amid the Covid-19 pandemic. (There is) also, the risk of reduced learning outcomes due to the learning loss, and the risk of violence against children, external risk, and their mental health,\u201d Prof. Adi stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kemdikbud.go.id\/\">Kemendikbudristek<\/a>), 3,391 elementary school students from seven districts\/municipalities in four provinces demonstrated a significant learning loss that is equal to five to six months of learning experiences. The slowing down of the new cases are therefore welcomed with the new regulation that requires certain regions to hold a limited face-to-face meeting. \u201c(However,) the regulation needs thorough observation and cautions in order to implement it according to plans without creating new clusters,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/chairman-of-uns-academic-senate-shared-limited-face-to-face-class-strategy-3.webp\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"502\" src=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/chairman-of-uns-academic-senate-shared-limited-face-to-face-class-strategy-3.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-34523\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/chairman-of-uns-academic-senate-shared-limited-face-to-face-class-strategy-3.webp 1024w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/chairman-of-uns-academic-senate-shared-limited-face-to-face-class-strategy-3-300x147.webp 300w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/chairman-of-uns-academic-senate-shared-limited-face-to-face-class-strategy-3-768x377.webp 768w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/chairman-of-uns-academic-senate-shared-limited-face-to-face-class-strategy-3-980x480.webp 980w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/chairman-of-uns-academic-senate-shared-limited-face-to-face-class-strategy-3-480x235.webp 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The regulation also aligns with Indonesia\u2019s plan to reduce the pandemic level into endemic. Prof. Adi stated that the implementation of a limited face-to-face session could be successful when health protocols, 3T surveillance, vaccination, and hospital readiness improvement are put in place.
