Haryo Mataram Auditorium UNS and Zoom Cloud Meeting on Friday (1\/4\/2022). The study was held in welcoming Ramadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UNS invited Prof. Dr. Abdul Mustaqim, a Professor in Tafsir <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uin-suka.ac.id\/\">Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta<\/a> as the speaker in the study session. The event was attended by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, Vice-Chairman of UNS Board of Trustees, Prof. Hasan Fauzi, Chairman of Academic Senate (SA), Prof. Adi Sulistiyono, and Chairman of UNS Board of Professor, Prof. Suranto. The study session was opened with a recitation of Al-Qur\u2019an by Muhammad Hadziq Munajjih, a student of the Civil Engineering Program Faculty of Engineering (FT) UNS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-4.webp\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-4.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35113\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-4.webp 1024w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-4-300x169.webp 300w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-4-768x432.webp 768w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-4-980x551.webp 980w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-4-480x270.webp 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his opening remark, Prof. Jamal stated that Ramadan is a glorious month for Muslims, and it is reasonable that people prepare for their mental and spiritual condition by welcoming the holy month. \u201cIt is a special momentum and invaluable opportunity for Muslims to improve their piousness, faith, grow honesty, learn sincerity, and social awareness to be a <em>mutaqqin<\/em>, the (highest) level of pious people,\u201d Prof. Jamal added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Rector also hopes that Ramadan will not end up becoming a time for religious rituals that do not bring meaning, merits, and positive energy for people but become an opportunity to reap merits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-3.webp\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-3.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35112\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-3.webp 1024w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-3-300x169.webp 300w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-3-768x432.webp 768w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-3-980x551.webp 980w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/welcoming-the-ramadan-uns-held-tarhib-ramadan-1443-h-study-3-480x270.webp 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prof. Dr. Abdul Mustaqim supported Prof. Jamal\u2019s statement and said that Ramadan needs to be welcomed with joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe should not feel that \u2018oh no, tomorrow we are fasting again.\u2019 Ramadan is fertile land for people who are diligent in farming and taking care of their deeds. At the right time, they will yield their efforts. But for those who do not farm on their lands, maybe they only yield grass. We need to make Ramadan a blessed month,\u201d Prof. Dr. Abdul Mustaqim stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The speaker also reminded the participants to use their Ramadan to plant virtues, including reading Al-Qur\u2019an and having a good <em>niat<\/em> in fasting. Although we might be sick or have other challenges, in the end, we have <em>niat<\/em>, <em>niat<\/em> is better than its implementation for <em>mukmin<\/em>.
