This partnership was marked with a signatory ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Conference Room 2 of dr. Prakosa UNS, Thursday (11\/8\/2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This partnership agreement was signed by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, accompanied by UNS Vice-Rector for Planning, Partnership, Business, and Information Affairs, Prof. Sajidan, and Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Global Partnerships of the University of Newcastle Australia, Prof. Caroline Chan accompanied by Mr. Bret Sutcliffe, Transnational Education Manager, Global Engagement and Partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The signing was also attended by the Vice-Rector of Research and Innovation Affairs UNS, Prof. Kuncoro Diharjo, and the Vice-Rector of General and Human Resources Affairs, Prof. Bandi, as well as the Vice-Deans from faculties at UNS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/uns-establish-partnership-with-the-university-of-newcastle-australia-1.webp\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/uns-establish-partnership-with-the-university-of-newcastle-australia-1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35271\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/uns-establish-partnership-with-the-university-of-newcastle-australia-1.webp 1024w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/uns-establish-partnership-with-the-university-of-newcastle-australia-1-300x169.webp 300w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/uns-establish-partnership-with-the-university-of-newcastle-australia-1-768x432.webp 768w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/uns-establish-partnership-with-the-university-of-newcastle-australia-1-980x551.webp 980w, https:\/\/uns.ac.id\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/uns-establish-partnership-with-the-university-of-newcastle-australia-1-480x270.webp 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This partnership will last for three years until 31 December 2025. The partnership will cover lecturer exchange, research project development, student exchange, short-course, credit transfer recognition, and double-degree programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his remark, Prof. Jamal expressed appreciation for the official partnership carried out by the two institutions. \u201cThank you for choosing UNS as a partner university. Hopefully, this cooperation can benefit all of us,\u201d said Prof. Jamal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, Prof. Caroline Chan also appreciated UNS initiatives to improve the quality of education measured through international ratings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cToday is the first step for all of us.
