UNS<\/a><\/strong> — As many as 1,300 participants energized the IKA UNS Color Run<\/a> race organized by the Alumni Association (IKA) of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta on Saturday morning (4\/3\/2023) at Lake UNS. The three etapes that were contested, namely 3 km, 5 km and 11 km, then 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners were taken from the male and female categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winners were entitled to receive cash prizes. On the 11 km route, 1st place of male category was won by Nofeldi Petingko and 1st place of female category was won by Anjasari Dewi. To uns.ac.id, Anjasari Dewi, or often called Dewi, said that she was very happy when she finished first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I feel very happy to finish first, Alhamdulillah<\/em>. It’s also extraordinary because the route goes up and down,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, Dewi, the female runner from Bandung, had participated in a similar event at UNS, namely the 11k Solo Open several years ago. However, she had not managed to reach the finish in first place. She also often participated in similar events in various cities. Through her preparation with regular training, finally in the IKA UNS Color Run, she was able to take first place in the 11 km female category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u201cIndeed, I deliberately took part in the IKA UNS Color Run, actually I was also had holiday in Solo. So that travelling while participating in the competition, like that, Alhamdulillah<\/em>, I am able to win,” she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners, there were also dozens of door prizes for participants distributed through a drawing or lottery system. Some of the prizes that were distributed included NMax motorbikes, electric motorbikes, Iphone 14, bicycles, precious golds, and many other interesting door prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the participants who got a doorprize for an Nmax motorbike, Desi Indah, admitted that she was very happy and did not expect it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Alhamdulillah<\/em>, I’m very happy because at first my intention was just to get the medal. There is no expectations, moreover getting a motorbike,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desi Indah, the alumni of Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNS, said that this event was the first running event she had participated in. Humas UNS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
