This event was held online via Zoom Meeting on Friday (17\/3\/2023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his remarks, the Head of the Accounting Study Program FEB UNS, Prof. Agung Nur Probohudono, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., Ak said that learning cannot only be done on campus. However, learning can also be done off campus, such as studying through this webinar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;\u201cBy presenting extraordinary speakers, take advantage of this opportunity to explore their experiences. I also want to thank the speakers who have agreed to attend to share in this webinar. Hopefully the event can run smoothly and be useful,&#8221; Prof. Agung said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first guest speaker, Vina Muliana as a Career Professional in BUMN (State Owned Enterprises) and Educational Content Creator on Social Media, presented material about <em>Prepare Your Future Career<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;\u201cI often get stories from my followers that it&#8217;s hard to get a suitable job. Then I looked deeper into it and it turned out that there was indeed a change in the landscape of today&#8217;s company needs. Moreover, currently Indonesia is dominated by productive age. As well as there is the phenomenon of degree inflation or the number of people who successfully complete tertiary education has increased. These two things are a challenge. So, it&#8217;s not enough for you to just have a good GPA, it&#8217;s not enough for you to just have a good relationship with lecturers, and it&#8217;s not enough for you to just have a lot of committee experience. From these 3Cs, it makes a slice called <em>professional success<\/em>. The first is Clarity, which is identifying what we want to be like in the future. Because when you want to apply for a job, the first thing you have to do is not immediately make a Curriculum Vitae (CV). Instead ask yourself where you want to go. What field do you want to work in? Also adjust the career you want to build with your interests, competencies, and values, as well as the personality that you have. If you are still having trouble identifying it, you can use the Ikigai framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Then for Competitiveness, you have to gain experience such as internships, student organizations, actively participating in campus activities, conducting research, and volunteering. Next for Connections, you must often hear the term <em>&#8216;your network is your net worth&#8217;<\/em>. To expand connections, you can establish relationships with alumni, online resources, and career center services,&#8221; Vina explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lastly, Vina advised to do your own pace and enjoy your own ride. Because often what makes us more dizzy is because we always like to compare ourselves to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;\u201cNo matter how many times you look, the grass is always greener on the other side. Instead of using your time to look at the neighbor&#8217;s grass, it&#8217;s better to spend your time repairing your own grass. Because the best thing is how you can always grow 1% every day,&#8221; Vina said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then the event continued with the presentation by the second speaker which was delivered by Adeviani Fiardhani as an alumnus of UNS.
