This cooperation agreement aims to carry out joint research and innovation in the field of marine energy conversion technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As quoted from <a href=\"https:\/\/ft.uns.ac.id\/\">ft.uns.ac.id<\/a> on Tuesday (24\/10\/2023), Dr. Techn. Ir. Sholihin As&#8217;ad. M.T., the Dean of FT UNS, stated that the scope of this cooperation involves joint research and innovation in the field of motion energy conversion technology and differences in sea layer temperature, as well as joint research and innovation in floating structure technology for sea breeze energy conversion. &#8220;In this cooperation agreement, the parties have agreed to produce scientific papers submitted to reputable international journals and draft proposals for funding schemes from BRIN and UNS internal program sources,&#8221; Dr. Techn. Ir. Sholihin explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Renewable Energy (EBT) is a source of energy that comes from nature and can produce a higher level of energy than is consumed. Currently, RE is being developed as an alternative to replace conventional fossil fuel energy sources. One of the renewable energy sources under development is marine energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest marine areas, offering the advantage of vast marine energy potential. Marine energy is generated from the motion and temperature differences in sea layers. A sea breeze is the wind that blows from the sea towards the land. The difference in characteristics between the sea and the land results in land breezes and sea breezes. The sea absorbs and releases heat energy more slowly than the land. Sea breezes occur during the morning and afternoon because the heat energy on land is absorbed more rapidly than the heat energy absorbed by the sea. Hence, the cooperation between PRTH and BRIN in the form of research and innovation collaboration is vital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This signing took place in two separate stages, desk to desk on Monday (2\/10\/2023) by the Head of PRTH BRIN, Widjo Kongko, and on Wednesday (18\/10\/2023) by the Dean of FT UNS, Dr. Techn.
