The research on hydrogen development is led by Professor Dr. Drs. Pranoto, M.Sc., who is also the <a href=\"https:\/\/pasca.uns.ac.id\/s3-ilmu-lingkungan\/?_gl=1*1atl0mq*_ga*MTkyMzI2MTU4Ni4xNzAyNjk3MTU0*_ga_F6CXYGH6G4*MTcwMjY5NzE1NC4xLjEuMTcwMjY5NzgwMC42MC4wLjA.\">Head of the Environmental Science Doctoral Program (S-3)<\/a> at UNS. The team collaborates with several universities, including RUDN University in Russia and Telkom University. The initiative to develop hydrogen fuel is part of the commitment to contribute to and support the development of <em>Green Energy<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event commenced with discussions and the signing of a collaboration agreement between Telkom University as the first party and UNS as the second party in the Multipurpose Meeting Room of the UNS Postgraduate Program on Tuesday (5\/12\/2023). This collaboration encompasses joint learning activities, advanced studies, the Independent Campus Learning (<em>Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka<\/em><em>,<\/em> or MBKM) initiative, journal publications, research, and community service. UNS was represented by the Dean of the Postgraduate Program, Prof. Drs. Sutarno, M.Sc., Ph.D., while Telkom University was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Dr. Bambang Setia Nugroho, S.T., M.T.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to discussions and knowledge sharing, the event proceeded with the installation of the <em>Hydrogenyzr<\/em> device in a hybrid system car. Technicians from Telkom University conducted the installation, witnessed by the Dean of the UNS Postgraduate Program and his team. <em>Hydrogenyzr<\/em> is a hydrogen reactor, an alternative technology to address excessive fuel consumption issues. The device can save fuel consumption in internal combustion engine vehicles by generating hydrogen from water. Subsequently, the device is connected to the car&#8217;s engine. After the installation of <em>Hydrogenyzr<\/em>, the engine runs more smoothly, vibrations are reduced, and smoke tends to decrease. Even upon inspection of the car&#8217;s exhaust, it feels humid due to the water vapor. Pranoto, M.Sc., the Head of the Environmental Science Doctoral Program at UNS, expressed hopes that this research development could be expanded, especially in the use of hydrogen fuel. &#8220;Considering that the development of hydrogen as a fuel in Indonesia is still minimal, we, from UNS, have partnered with several universities, including Telkom University and RUDN University in Russia.
