UNS<\/a><\/strong>\u2014Three students of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, under the guidance of Nur Chayati, S.E., M.Sc., have brought pride to their university by winning the Business Model Canvas Competition organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB)<\/a> at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip)<\/a>. The three students, Yusron Nawawi, Wa Ode Asyifa Ainun Asadih, and Sylmina Safa’Minori, are all students of the Accounting <\/a>Program at FEB UNS<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Business Model Canvas Competition is a part of the Diponegoro Economics Project (DEP)<\/a>, one of the largest economics competitions in Indonesia. The UNS student team made it to the finals, outshining 39 other teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yusron, one of the team members, shared that after being selected as finalists, they had to present their business model directly to the judges. He and his team presented their business model on Saturday (24\/8\/2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTo win this competition, we went through two stages. The first stage was the selection process, where we had to create a business model canvas. Out of 39 teams, 10 were chosen to present their models offline at Undip. The second stage was the final presentation by those 10 teams,\u201d Yusron explained to uns.ac.id <\/a>on Thursday (29\/8\/2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the final round, 10 teams competed, with the top three being selected as winners. The UNS team emerged as the second-place winner in the Business Model Canvas Competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen it was announced that our team had won second place, it felt incredible, especially knowing that we had defeated teams from prestigious universities like Universitas Indonesia (UI)<\/a>, Universitas Airlangga (Unair),<\/a> and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM)<\/a>. All the hard work, from preparing the presentation and brainstorming ideas to creating the business prototype, was worth it,\u201d Yusron expressed with gratitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yusron encouraged all UNS students to keep innovating and achieving, in line with the university\u2019s motto, \u201cUNS Bisa\u201d (UNS Can).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI sincerely hope that my fellow UNS students never stop innovating and achieving. Let’s show that we truly can, just as our university slogan says,\u201d Yusron added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
