UNS<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Bengawan Team from Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS)<\/a> Surakarta has once again showcased its expertise at the 2024 Energy-Efficient Car Competition (Kontes Mobil Hemat Energi, or\u00a0KMHE)<\/a>, achieving outstanding success. The team secured first place in two categories: Prototype MPD Gasoline, with an impressive fuel efficiency of 743,10 km\/liter, and Urban MPD Diesel, setting a record of 226,83 km\/liter. Held from October 5 to 12, 2024, at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC)<\/a>, the event brought together teams from prestigious universities across Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This victory also set a new internal record for Bengawan Team UNS, solidifying their position as leaders in innovation and technical excellence. The Prototype MPD Gasoline category saw fierce competition from the Batavia Gasoline Team<\/a> and Selembayung Team 1, yet Bengawan Team UNS emerged victorious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KMHE is a prestigious annual event that challenges university student teams to design and build vehicles with maximum energy efficiency. Not only does it provide a platform for participants to showcase their skills, but it also marks significant advancements in Indonesian automotive technology. Bengawan Team UNS General Manager, Adam Sulthoni Wibowo, expressed his pride in his team\u2019s achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are incredibly proud of our accomplishments at KMHE 2024. Out of 83 participating teams, Bengawan Team proved to be the best, showing that our innovation and hard work are well-deserved recognition,\u201d Adamsaid , as quoted on ft.uns.ac.id<\/a>, Thursday (17\/10\/2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bengawan Team UNS\u2019s<\/a> accomplishments were made possible with guidance from expert faculty advisors, including Dr. Hammar Ilham Akbar, S.Pd., M.T.; Dr. Rendy Adhi Rachmanto, S.T., M.T.; and Prof. Dr. Eng. Syamsul Hadi, M.T.
