UNS<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) has announced the results of the 2025 National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) on Tuesday (18\/3\/2025). A total of 2.388 prospective students, or 6% of the total applicants, have secured admission through this pathway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The number of applicants choosing UNS through SNBP reached 38.893, marking an 8,9% increase from 2024, which had 35.711 applicants. The university enrolled 263 students in the Diploma Three (D3) program and 147 in the Diploma Four (D4) program. It also enrolled 1.978 students in Bachelor\u2019s Degree (S1) programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comprehensive Selection Process<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Hartono, dr. M.Si., emphasized that the selection process considered both academic and non-academic achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe congratulate all students admitted through SNBP. This year, UNS welcomes outstanding students from various regions across Indonesia,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new students come from 111 regencies\/cities in 20 provinces. This diversity showcases UNS\u2019s commitment to inclusivity and equitable access to higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe diversity among students enriches the campus environment. We hope they bring unique perspectives that enhance learning experiences at UNS,\u201d Prof. Hartono added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competitive Study Programs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Several UNS programs are ranked among Indonesia\u2019s most competitive. These include Anesthesiology Nursing (0,94%), Pharmacy (1,99%), and Occupational Health and Safety (2,43%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  8. Pharmacy (1.103 applicants)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Digital Business (1.000 applicants)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Communication Science (969 applicants)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    8. D4 Digital Marketing (347 applicants)<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    10. D3 Midwifery (273 applicants)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      \u201cThe high interest in these programs demonstrates UNS\u2019s strong reputation. Many students choose UNS for its quality education in science, technology, social sciences, and humanities,\u201d Prof. Drs. Sutarno, M.Sc., Ph.D., Head of the UNS Admissions Office, said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Next Steps for Admitted Students<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Students who did not gain admission through SNBP can still apply through alternative pathways. These include the National Selection Based on Test (SNBT) and the UNS Independent Selection (SM-UNS).
