UNS<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 In the spirit of Ramadan, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta celebrated its 2025 Period 3 Graduation Ceremony. The event took place at the G.P.H Haryo Mataram Auditorium on Saturday (22\/3\/2025). During the event, UNS Rector, Prof. Dr. Hartono, dr., M.Si., encouraged graduates to uphold integrity and ethics. He also reminded them to stay socially aware in their future endeavors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wisdom from Ramadan: Values for the Future<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe holy month of Ramadan teaches us patience, sincerity, and empathy. These values must guide you as you enter the workforce and society. I hope UNS alumni will not only excel academically but also demonstrate strong ethics and integrity,\u201d Prof. Hartono stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also reminded graduates of their role as agents of change. \u201cThe world presents complex challenges. You must continuously develop and apply the knowledge you have gained for the nation\u2019s progress. Be innovators, lifelong learners, and contributors to positive change,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to his message on ethics and integrity, Prof. Hartono emphasized the importance of adaptability in an ever-evolving world. \u201cThe rapid advancements in technology and globalization require us to remain open-minded and proactive. Embrace challenges as opportunities to grow and innovate,\u201d he advised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognizing Academic Excellence<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Hartono congratulated all graduates and acknowledged their hard work. \u201cThis achievement is not just your own but also the result of your families\u2019, lecturers\u2019, and supporters\u2019 dedication. Keep striving, and make your alma mater and nation proud,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 388 graduates received degrees, including 102 who graduated with cum laude honors. The ceremony also welcomed five international graduates from Libya and Timor-Leste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
