<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a href="http://uns.ac.id/en">UNS</a></strong>&#8212; <a href="http://uns.ac.id/en">Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS)</a> Surakarta held its Ninth Graduation Ceremony for the 2025 academic year on Saturday (October 25, 2025) at the G.P.H. Haryo Mataram Auditorium. A total of 1,400 graduates were officially conferred their degrees by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Hartono, dr., M.Si.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph">In his address, Prof. Hartono congratulated all graduates on successfully completing their academic journey at UNS, emphasizing that graduation marks the beginning of their true professional journey. “Today we live in an agile era—a world full of change, uncertainty, and disruption. Amid these dynamics, UNS graduates are expected to become a generation that is adaptive, innovative, and resilient,” he said.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph">He further encouraged graduates to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained to face future challenges through collaboration and integrity. “Be individuals who bring real impact to society. Every small step will lead to meaningful contributions when done with honesty, commitment, and a spirit of sharing,” he added.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Prof. Hartono also expressed gratitude to all parties who supported the success of the 1,400 graduates. “I hope our graduates will continue to carry the good name of UNS wherever they go. Keep spreading kindness, uphold integrity, and remain lifelong learners,” he said.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph">In her report on the 2025 Ninth Graduation Ceremony, the Vice Rector for Academic and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Fitria Rahmawati, S.Si., M.Si., noted that among the 1,400 graduates, there were four international students from Bangladesh, Yemen, Namibia, and Timor Leste.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph">She also highlighted several outstanding graduates for their exceptional achievements. The Fastest and Youngest Doctoral Graduate title was awarded to Dr. Rifqi Abdul Aziz from the Doctoral Program in Communication Studies, who completed his studies in 2 years and 10 months at the age of 28 years and 2 months.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph">The Fastest Master’s Graduate was Fitri Ayu Febrianti, M.Pd., from the Master’s Program in Primary School Teacher Education, with a study duration of 1 year and 6 months, while the Youngest Master’s Graduate was Muhammad Riza, M.Pd., from the Master’s Program in Mathematics Education, who graduated at the age of 23.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph">At the undergraduate level, Putri Mahardika, S.Pd., from the Bachelor’s Program in Science Education, was recognized as the Fastest Bachelor’s Graduate, completing her studies in 3 years and 6 months. The Youngest Bachelor’s Graduate was Valent Akira Satwika, S.Ars., from the Bachelor’s Program in Architecture, graduating at the age of 20 years and 4 months.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph">For the Applied Bachelor’s Program, Syafina Nadya Avrilla, S.Tr.Kes., from the Occupational Health and Safety Program, was named the Fastest Graduate with a study duration of 3 years and 11 months, while Ismail Syahri Ramadhan, S.Tr.Sos., from the Demography and Civil Registration Program, earned the title of Youngest Graduate at the age of 21 years and 8 months.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Meanwhile, in the Diploma III Program, Nofia Liza Romandhoni, A.Md.P., from the Agricultural Product Technology Program, was recognized as the Fastest Graduate, completing her studies in 2 years and 8 months. <p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a href="http://uns.ac.id/en">UNS</a></strong>—Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta conferred degrees on 703 graduates during its first graduation ceremony of 2025. The ceremony, led by UNS Rector Prof. Dr. Hartono, dr. M.Si., was held at the G.P.H. Haryo Mataram Auditorium on Saturday (18/1/2025). The graduates consisted of <a href="https://spmb.uns.ac.id/portofolio-riwayat/jenjang?jenjang=d">diploma</a>, <a href="https://spmb.uns.ac.id/portofolio-riwayat/jenjang?jenjang=s1">undergraduate</a>, <a href="https://pasca.uns.ac.id/program-studi/program-magister/">master’s</a>, and <a href="https://pasca.uns.ac.id/program-studi/program-doktor/">doctoral programs</a>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Out of the 703 graduates, 209 achieved the distinction of <em>cum laude</em> or honors. A poignant moment marked the ceremony as the late Aan Dwiky Handoyo, S.Pt., was honored. Prof. Hartono personally handed over Aan’s bachelor’s degree certificate to his family, as the auditorium witnessed the emotional moment.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“We deeply mourn the loss of one of our graduates, Aan Dwiky Handoyo, from the<a href="https://peternakan.uns.ac.id/"> Faculty of Animal Husbandry</a>. May he rest in peace and find the best place in His presence. To his family, who are here to receive his bachelor’s degree certificate, we extend our heartfelt condolences and utmost respect,” Prof. Hartono said.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The graduation ceremony also recognized graduates with exceptional achievements. Dr. Mujtaba Jamal, a graduate of the <a href="https://pasca.uns.ac.id/s3linguistik/profil/">Linguistics Doctoral Program</a>, was acknowledged as the fastest doctoral graduate, completing his studies in just 2 years and 3 months. Meanwhile, the youngest doctoral graduate was Dr. Sujiyani Kassiavera from the <a href="https://s3ipa.fkip.uns.ac.id/">Science Education Program</a>, graduating at the age of 32 years and 6 months.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For the master’s program, Qori Nur Fauziah from the <a href="https://pasca.uns.ac.id/s2agronomi/profil/kurikulum/">Agronomy Program</a> was recognized as the fastest graduate, completing her studies in 1 year and 4 months. The youngest master’s graduate was Nur Azizah Fitrianti from the <a href="https://pasca.uns.ac.id/s2ilkom/">Communication Science Program</a>, earning her degree at the age of 24 years and 1 month.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the undergraduate program, the fastest graduate was Keesa Ananda from the <a href="https://uns.ac.id/id/fakultas/pertanian/s-1-peternakan">Animal Husbandry Program</a>, who completed her studies in 3 years and 2 months. The youngest undergraduate graduate was Roisdha Ika Syaharani from the <a href="https://spmb.uns.ac.id/portofolio-riwayat/view?kode_prodi=41231&amp;tahun=2013">Food Technology Program</a>, graduating at 20 years and 9 months old.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Among diploma graduates, the fastest Diploma IV graduate was Ridwan Efendi from the <a href="https://vokasi.uns.ac.id/program-studi/d4-demografi-dan-pencatatan-sipil">Demography and Civil Registration Program</a>, completing his studies in 3 years and 11 months. The youngest Diploma IV graduate was Okta Fajriani Faliha from the <a href="https://sarjanakebidanan.fk.uns.ac.id/">Applied Midwifery Program</a>, earning her degree at 22 years and 3 months.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For the Diploma III program, the fastest graduate was Leonardus Ratsangka Cahya Winnardi from the <a href="https://vokasi.uns.ac.id/program-studi/d3-teknik-sipil">Civil Engineering Program</a>, completing his studies in 2 years and 10 months. The youngest graduate in the Diploma III program was Ghania Najwa Zea Fariha Raya from the <a href="https://vokasi.uns.ac.id/program-studi/d3-bahasa-inggris">English Program</a>, graduating at the age of 20 years and 9 months. The ceremony also celebrated the achievements of five international graduates from Timor-Leste, Egypt, and Afghanistan, further highlighting the diverse academic community at UNS. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>UNS</strong> &#8212; As many as 1,336 students participated in Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta offline and online graduation ceremony VI 2021 on Saturday (11/12/2021). The graduation ceremony was held in G.P.H. Haryo Mataram Auditorium UNS and Zoom Cloud Meeting platform.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There were 18 students who graduated from the School of Postgraduate Studies, 59 students from <a>Faculty of Cultural Studies</a> (FIB), 74 students from Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), 49 students from Faculty of Law (FH), 23 students from Faculty of Sports (FKOR), 61 students from <a>Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science</a> (FMIPA), and 51 students from <a>Faculty of Art and Design</a> (FSRD).</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) graduated its 89 students, Faculty of Medical Science (FK) 60 students, Faculty of Agriculture (FP) 98 students, Faculty of Engineering (FT) 99 students, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) 253 students, and Vocational School (SV) 397 students.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Prof. Ahmad Yunus, as the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs UNS, stated that 744 students graduated with honors. “From School of Postgraduate Studies 11 students, FIB 29, FISIP 38, FH 25, FEB 35, FK 3, and FP 58,” Prof. Yunus reported. “FT 43, FKIP 135, FKOR 13, FMIPA 11, FSRD 22, and SV 322.”</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Prof. Yunus also reported several great achievements among the graduates, such as Dr. Panji Kuncoro Hadi from the Doctoral Program of Indonesia Language, who completed his program in four years and became the fastest in completing the program. From the Master’s program, Yes Arfianto, M.H., also became the fastest to graduate from the Master Program in Law Science. “With a total study period of one year and four months. Then, Putri Nur’aini from Elementary School Education FKIP is the fastest to graduate in the bachelor degree with a total study period of three years and six months.”</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">From the diploma program, the fastest student to graduate was Nadia Ayu Dewantari from the Diploma Program (D-4) of Demography and Civil Registration (four years), and Melani Tribuana Tungga Dewi from the Diploma Program (D-3) of Applied Communication (two years and ten months).</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In his opening remark, the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, stated that the struggle of these students to complete their studies amid the pandemic was a great challenge. He also compared the struggle to adagium Colin Powell that a dream does not become a reality through magic, but instead hard work and persistence. “Here, we understand that the ability to adapt is a result of the learning process,” Prof. Jamal stated.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Rector also hoped that the graduated students to pass the real-life challenges and be responsible with their intellect while serving the community as a social responsibility. “Hopefully, your presence to apply your knowledge, skills, and experiences obtained on the campus could be useful for the community. I am sure that becoming a part of community development and living among the great people is one of your prayers.” <strong>Humas UNS</strong></p>
