UNS – Doctoral Degree of Law Studies 2016 of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, cooperating with Universitas Gadjah Mada and Universitas Islam Indonesia as the co-organizer, will hold an international conference entitled “The 2017 International Conference on Globalization of Law and Local Wisdom” or IC-GLOW 2017.
Taking place in Lorin Hotel, Surakarta on October 14th-15th 2017, IC-GLOW 2017 invites multiple speakers from universities in Indonesia and around the world: Prof Hikmahanto Juwana, S.H., LLM., Ph.D (Universitas Indonesia – Indonesia), Prof Dr. I Gusti Ayu Ketut Rachmi Handayani, S.H., M.M. (Universitas Sebelas Maret – Indonesia), Prof. Soek-Woo Lee (Inha University Law School – South Korea), Prof. David Keith Linnan (USC School of Law – South Carolina, USA), Prof. Dr. Thomas Scmithz (University of Goettingen – Germany; Academy of Public Administration – Modova), Prof. Dr. H. Abdul Mohaimin bin Noordin Ayus (Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali – Brunei Darussalam), Dr. Mohd. Iqbal bin Abdul Wahab (International Islamic University Malaysia -Malaysia), and Christopher Cason, JD (Seattle Pacific – Washington DC; Universitas Islam Indonesia).
Participants inerested to be a presenter are required to submit papers under various sub themes such as National Law in Global Era, The Globalization of Law in Welfare State, Justice in Global Perspective, and several other sub themes which can be found in the conference’s official website, http://icglow2017.com.
This conference has several important dates to notice: full paper submission deadline on August 21st 2017, acceptance notification on August 31st 2017, and payment deadline on September 20th 2017.
Aside from being a presenter, participants can also become the attendees. Presenters are required to pay IDR 3.000.000, additional author(s) IDR 500.000, and attendees IDR 500.000.
