UNS – Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta has won three categories at Public Relation Awards of Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (Ristekdikti), Tuesday (16/1/2018).

Taking place in Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Medan, North Sumatra, this occasion appreciates UNS for some categories. UNS wins first place for publicity, second place for website, and  social media category in PTN-BLU group. This award is given by Ministry of Ristekdikti Mohammad Nasir to UNS rector Ravik Karsidi accompanied by head of UNS public relation Andre Rahmanto.

Ravik Karsidi tells his appreciation and thanks to all of those who taking part at this duties.

“We do hope that this achievement makes us more productive in raising UNS image and contributing for PR in Ristekdikti level,” said Ravik.

Andre Rahmanto states that this occasion is held for the first time and it can be consider as reference for PR performances among universities.

“Alhamdulillah (thank God), this achievement is such a credit for UNS as the only PTN-BLU that wins three categories,” said Andre.

PR award is program of Ristekdikti to appreciate PR for its contribution. The assessment is started from mid 2017 by some experts.  Each category has its own criteria for assessment. In publicity category, PR must have good engagement and relationship with mass media, documentation, and press release either printed or audio. Website category is assessed from the management, URL address, website view, content, technology, and English version website.
