UNS — A student of Faculty of Sports (FKOR) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta recorded another accomplishment. This time, Yoga Prabowo brought UNS proud name to the national level after winning the One Pride MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) Fight Night 43.
Yoga Restu Aji Prabowo, his full name, won a ranking improvement match in featherweight class on 13 March 2021. Yoga offers this achievement for his parents. “I am thankful to the God Almighty that I can fight again here. I offer this achievement for my parents who have pray, support, and educate me to this point,” Yoga said.
The wrestling sports student also delivered his gratitude to his friends, partners, and classmates in UNS and FKOR. This achievement is not the first for Yoga. Previously, the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Program student won the same competition in 2019, but he was vacuum from the MMA competition in the last two years. However, he prepares his best fight once he back to the ring. He focuses his time and materials to train and prepare for this competition.
“In the last two years, I was vacuum, and I was focused on my study. I also experienced a bone fracture. Alhamdulillah, this fight met my expectation,” he concluded. Humas UNS
