UNS — The hybrid concert “Dandelion” that will be held by the Student Choir (PSM) Voca Erudita is officially postponed. The hybrid concert scheduled on Saturday (26/6/2021) is postponed to further notice due to campus activity limitations in Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta.
The Campus Activity Limitation in UNS is effective on 18—25 June 2021 and was extended through the Circular Letter Number 2640/UN27/TU/2021 that the limitation will continue until 2 July 2021. PSM Voca Erudita UNS leader Gabrielle Kirsten Ashteen, or Gaby, confirmed the postponement news. “The campus wants it to be postponed considering the COvid-19 increase in Solo,” she said.
Gaby mentioned that Voca Erudita had prepared the concert well, and 90% of the preparation was done. However, after thorough consideration, they decided to postpone the concern until further notice. “(But) we hope it won’t take too long as we have complete 90% of the preparation for this concert,” she added.
Prepared Surprise
Gaby also mentioned that the committee had prepared a surprise for the concert audience. The concert was scheduled under a hybrid concept by combining online and offline concerts. As many as 115 singers are involved in the show; 35 singers will sing offline in Solo while others sing from their homes. This concept is new and different from the previous concert that was held entirely online.
Audiences do not need to exchange their current ticket as they can still use their purchased ticket. Further information for the new schedule can be accessed in Voca Erudita Instagram account and Detik Tiket. Do not miss the update! Humas UNS
