UNS – In order to enliven the Month of Merdeka Belajar (Free Learning) to commemorate National Education Day 2023, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held a healthy walk around the campus with the leaders. The health walk was led directly by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum. by taking the start and finish at building dr. Prakosa UNS, Sunday (14/5/2023).
On this occasion, the Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum. said that this healthy walk was a follow-up to the Circular of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Number 11 of 2023 dated 23 May 2023.
During the healthy walk, the group consisting of UNS leaders and education staff moved past the Faculty of Agriculture (FP) UNS, then to the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), then the Medical Faculty (FK), past the Faculty of Teacher Teaching and Education (FKIP) ), Faculty of Law (FH), Faculty of Arts and Design (FSRD), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), and the Faculty of Engineering (FT).
Prof. Jamal said that besides aiming to maintain health, this healthy walk also observed every condition of the UNS campus environment that was passed during the walk.
“I thank you for coming to join this healthy walk. Not only were healthy walks held in Solo, but healthy walks in the context of National Education Day were also held in various cities. In Jakarta it was held at 6 o’clock, in Bali also at 6 o’clock,” Prof. Jamal said. Humas UNS
