UNS — Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta was chosen to be the host of the Monthly UNS Cultural Performance. The Cultural Performance was held at the Djarwanto FEB UNS Building courtyard and broadcasted through the Faculty of Economics and Business UNS YouTube Channel on Friday (10/6/2022) night.
The Dean of FEB UNS, Prof. Drs. Djoko Suhardjanto, M.Com.Hons)., Ph.D., Ak., hopes that the cultural performance event organized by FEB UNS can entertain the attendees. “UNS Cultural Performance is an excellent means for UNS’ Vision implementation to be the center for superior science, technology, and art development at the international level, based on the noble values of national culture. Hopefully, this monthly agenda can go on as a form of UNS concern and commitment to always respecting and preserving Indonesian culture,” said Prof. Djoko.
Following the welcoming remark, the Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, SH, M.Hum., conveyed that this cultural performance is to implement, invigorate, and realize UNS’ grand vision to become a world-class university based on the noble culture of our nation. “Therefore, let’s support the plan for monthly Cultural Performance in the UNS. Let us together enjoy the display of our cultural art from the extended family of FEB UNS,” said Prof. Jamal.
The FEB UNS Cultural Performance was also enlivened by the performances of the Doctor of Economic Sciences Program (PDIE) FEB UNS students and regional songs performance. Moreover, the event was concluded with a puppet play by a young puppeteer Darmasuta, performing the Gathutkaca Senopati storyline. Humas UNS
