UNS — Study and Research Group (KSP) Principium Faculty of Law (FH) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held an online open house on Monday (6/9/2021) through the Zoom Meeting. The Group invited Dr. Muhammad Rustamaji as the Head of Law Science Program and Fikriya Afifina Faiza, M.H., an employee in PT KCIC.
Dr. Muhammad Rustamaji shared his experience as FH UNS student.
KSP is more focused on reasoning skills
“When I joined a new student, wait and see, what are my needs, what Student Associations (UKM). We have a brain, heart, and physical body. The heart should be filled with religiosity, which exercises (while physics) are filled with learning and exercises. At the time, I selected Karate as physical training, to hone my heart, I participated in FOSMI, and my reasoning in KSP,” he said.
KSP is a student association in FH UNS that focuses on reasoning and scientific research. He also added that by participating in KSP, students could open wide opportunities because there are many competitions held by universities and Ministries in Indonesia.
“KSP is a stepping stone to participate in the Student Creativity Program (PKM) until the National Student Science Week (Pimnas). Here you will learn about the good social and humanities research methods. Students’ achievements have a great point in developing FH program,” Dr. Muhammad Rustamaji added.
Fikriya Afifina Faiza, M.H., also hared the experience of participating in KSP during her study.
“I think we can create good things by chasing opportunities, including by joining KSP. By participating in the organization, we hone our soft skills. How we face problems, a work, and train our time management, and leadership,” Faiza said.
She also shared tips in choosing the step after graduated by first selecting the career wanted and prepared milestones. “Find a mentor. As early as possible, make a note of masterpiece or project success for your CV. Lastly, develop your potential,” she concluded. Humas UNS
