UNS — The Doctoral Program in Sports Faculty of Sports (FKOR) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta will hold a promotion examination/open doctoral examination for the first time for Sulistiyono on Tuesday (22/6/2021). Sulistiyono will defend his thesis on ‘The Development of Training Model Based on the Experience Learning to Develop Skills and Characters of Football Students in 9 -12 Years Old (Study of Development in Football School in Sleman District)’.
The doctoral promotion examination was attended by the promotor, Prof. Dr. Sugiyanto, Co-Promotor I, Prof. Dr. Agus Kristiyanto, M. Pd, and Promotor II, Dr. Sapta Kunta Purnama M.Pd. According to the Rector of UNS, the promotion examination is scheduled to be held offline in 4th Floor Hall FKOR UNS Building Manahan and online through the Zoom Cloud Meeting and UNS YouTube channel.
The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) RI, Dr. H Zainudin Amali, the Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, the Rector of Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa), Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, and the Rector of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. Sumaryanto will attend the examination, in addition to Prof. Dr. Furqon Hidayatulloh, M.Pd, Prof. Sugiyanto, Prof. Dr. Agus Kristiyanto, M. Pd, Dr. Sapta Kunta Purnama, and Dr. Rony Saifulloh, M.Pd.
“The doctoral promotion exam on Tuesday is the first exam for the Doctoral Program FKOR UNS after receiving an accreditation from the National Accreditation Board,” Prof. Jamal explained.
The Dean of FKOR UNS, Dr. Sapta Kunta Purnama, shared his gratefulness for his faculty achievement in holding the first promotional examination. “I hope for it to be a success and the graduates of the Doctoral Program FKOR UNS could give their active contribution in the field of sports. I also hope that Pak Menpora and the Rectors motivate the promoted doctor candidate, Sulistiyono, to complete his dissertation immediately,” Dr. Sapta Kunta said.
Dr. Sapta Kunta added that this exam is a vital momentum considering the dissertation title in football and at the same time with the Euro Cup. He said that the Ministry of Youth and Sports is managing the football sport in Indonesia. “Hopefully, in the discussion, tomorrow with Menpora RI will result in the work for the field of football,” Dr. Sapta Kunta concluded.
