UNS — The Rector of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, SH, M.Hum., inaugurated PT. Semar Sarana Sejahtera on Friday (27/5/2022) at the UNS Ki Hadjar Dewantara Building. PT. Semar Sarana Sejahtera is a company established to support the commercial businesses within UNS.
Prof. Jamal said that PT. Semar Sarana Sejahtera is the parent company for non-academic businesses owned by UNS. He also thanked the UNS Alumni Association Foundation (IKA UNS) that contributed to the capital placement in this company. Other than UNS leaders, a representative of the IKA UNS Foundation, Drs. Bambang Dwi Wahyudi, also attended and witnessed the inauguration.
Aside from the PT. Semar Sarana Sejahtera inauguration, the Rector of UNS, also launched the UNS marketplace adadiuns.id. “This marketplace is an innovation product established by the Center for Excellence in Science and Technology (PUI) Center for Fintech and Banking UNS (Fintech Center UNS), which has been handed over to be managed by PT. Semar Sarana Sejahtera,” explained Prof. Jamal.
This marketplace will display and sell various products and services produced by UNS academic members. Purchases can easily be made virtually anywhere and at any time.
Prof. Jamal hopes that all UNS academic members, including lecturers, academic support staff, students, and alumni, can support this marketplace to promote and sell their products and services, as well as to purchase the desired needs.
