UNS — After previously submitting the accreditation questionnaire and passing the Sufficiency Assessment, the Statistics Study Program (Prodi) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta received a field assessment from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSAMA). The Field Assessment took place for two consecutive days on Thursday and Friday (July 6-7, 2023).
The assessors from LAMSAMA were Prof. Dr. Budi Nurani Ruchjana, M.S. and Prof. Dr. Ch. Rini Indrati, M.Sc. They were received by the faculty leadership and staff in the Senate Meeting Room of Building A, FMIPA UNS. Prior to that, the assessors were received by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum. in the dr. Prakosa Building UNS.
The Dean of FMIPA UNS, Drs. Harjana, M.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. welcomed and expressed gratitude to the assessors for their presence in conducting the field assessment. Harjana hoped that the assessors would provide input for the improvement of the Statistics Study Program and the faculty. “If those from outside the study programs and the faculty observe and scrutinize what has been done, it will be more objective. And this can motivate the institution to become better,” Harjana said.

Prof. Dr. Budi Nurani requested assistance and cooperation in completing any documents that are still lacking.
“If there is still missing data, we request your assistance and cooperation in completing it. There may be many things that the study program and the faculty have done but have not reported,” Prof. Dr. Budi Nurani said.
Similarly, Prof. Dr. Ch. Rini Indrati, M.Sc. stated that through the field assessment, they wanted to clarify and explore the instruments that had been worked on but have not yet been reported.
The two-day field assessment involved various components including lecturers, students, alumni and educational staff. It was related to performance confirmation, involvement, service, and satisfaction of each component. In addition, it also involved external stakeholders related to confirmation of involvement, expectations, satisfaction and university output input. Humas UNS
