UNS — This September 2021, the Bachelor in Sociology Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta officially signs a partnership with the Sociology Study Program in UIN Ar-Raniry, Aceh. The signatory of the partnership agreement was conducted in two stages. In the first stage, the agreement was signed by the Head of Sociology Study Program FISIP UNS, Dr. Argyo Demartoto, M.Si., in Surakarta. Afterward, the agreement manuscript was delivered to UIN Ar-Raniry by two representatives of the Sociology Study Program UNS, namely, Dr. Yuyun Sunesti and Addin Kurnia Putri, MA. The document is signed by Dr. Sehat Ihsan Shadiqin, as the Head of Religion Sociology Study Program UIN Ar-Raniry Aceh, in the Faculty of Usuluddin and Philosophy UIN Ar-Raniry Auditorium. The signatory ceremony was witnessed by UNS representatives, lecturers, and students of UIN Ar-Raniry, during a limited visiting lecture session.
Dr. Yuyun reveals that the agreement aims to improve teaching, research, and community service activities collaborations. Their (Dr. Yuyun and Addin Kurnia Putri, MA) visit to Banda Aceh is also to conduct a research collaboration.
“This is a second-year research with Dr. Sehat Ihsan Shadiqin and several involved students from the Religion Sociology UIN Ar-Raniry, with a grant from PNBP UNS 2021,” she explains as reported from fisip.uns.ac.id, Friday (17/9/2021).
The research collaboration was entitled “Sharia Housing: New Exclusive Spaces, Social Impact, and Communities’ Social Integration Problem (Housing Study in Sharia Housing in the Great Solo Region and Nangroe Aceh Darussalam).
“I hope for this agreement to be implemented through other future collaborations,” Dr. Yuyun explained. Humas UNS
