UNS — Proud achievement was brought by Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta students from Javanese Language Education Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UNS. Eryneta Nurul Hasanah won 1st position in Online National Student Essay Competition Parab Kawi 2021.
To uns.ac.id team Eryneta said that she is happy with her accomplishment. “Alhamdulillah, I am delighted because, at the beginning of 2021, I can accomplish another achievement and can bring a proud name for my parents and people around me. The MC of the event announced the winners from runner up 1, to third place, 2nd place, then 1st place; I was nervous,” Eryneta said to uns.ac.id team on Tuesday (23/3/2021),
The eighth-semester student said that initially, she did not want to participate in the competition because of her semester. However, after conversing with her friends, she decided to participate, and it turned out she won the 1st position. Her work submitted to the competition focuses on developing the Javanese Play application to preserve Javanese culture as character education. This theme was selected based on the contest theme and the education and character values in Javanese Play that represent community life.
“My writing focuses on the delivery of values in character education in Javanese Play to the millennials,” Eryneta said.
In the future, Eryneta hopes that her junior could follow her example and participate in competitions in scientific writing to bring the proud name of their Program and UNS. She also hopes that her achievements could motivate her junior to try new things, create, and accomplish something in the writing field.
“After I graduated, I hope my Program will stay and continue to be known by the community through this kind of competition. I also hope that during my study in Javanese Language Education Program UNS, I could give my best contribution and brought a proud name for my Program and UNS,” Eryneta said. Humas UNS
