UNS — Faculty of Agriculture (FP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta expands its collaboration network to implement the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program through a partnership with the Faculty of Agriculture (FP) and Faculty of Agricultural Technology Universitas Brawijaya (UB).
The collaboration was marked with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony among Prof. Dr. Ir. Samanhudi, SP, M.Si, ASEAN Eng (Dean of FP UNS), Dr. Ir. Damanhuri, MS (Dean of FP UB), and Prof. Dr. Ir. Imam Santoso, MP (Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology UB) on Thursday (25/11/2021). The signing ceremony was also attended by the Rector of UB and Academic Senate of FP UNS, led by Prof. Dr. Ir. Suntoro, MS.
Although the legal and formal collaboration has just been signed, the three faculties have collaborated for a longer period. The three faculties had sent their students for student exchange and joint lectures to support the MBKM Program.
Another collaboration established by FP UNS to support the MBKM Program is the partnership it signed with the Research Institute for Citrus and Sub-Tropical Fruits (Balitjestro) on Wednesday (24/11/2021). The signing ceremony for this partnership was held in Balitjestro Kota Batu, East Java. Prof. Samanhudi and Dr. Ir. Harwanto, M.Si, as the Chairman of Balitjestro, signed the document simultaneously.
As reported by fp.uns.ac.id, Prof. Samanhudi stated that the signing ceremony of the partnership agreement between FP UNS and Balitjestro is a formal legal agreement because both institutions have collaborated in research that involves FP UNS faculty members and students.
The collaborations are expected to help FP UNS in implementing the MBKM Program successfully. Humas UNS
