UNS — The Dean of Faculty of Law (FH) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Prof. Dr. I Gusti Ayu Ketut R.H., signs a memorandum of understanding with the Research, Development, Education, and Training in Law and Justice Office, of the Supreme Court (Litbang Diklat Kumdil Office MA). This partnership will cover education, law research, and community service. The partnership aims to provide assistance and inputs for Human Resource development, law development, and judicial in each institution.
The signatory ceremony was conducted offline (direct visit) on Thursday (18/3/2021) by the Dean of FH UNS, Prof. Dr. I Gusti Ayu Ketut R.H., the Vice-Rector for Planning, Partnership, Business, and Information Affairs UNS, Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Sajidan, and the High Judge of Litbang Diklat Kumdil Office MA, Dr. Nurul Huda, M.H. Also attending the ceremony is the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, and High Judge of Litbang Diklat Kumdil Office MA, Dra. Ernida Basry, M.H.
In his remarks, Prof. Jamal appreciates the steps taken by FH UNS to actualize the Kampus Merdeka-Merdeka Belajar Program through a partnership with MA.
“I encourage all faculty to adapt with the rapid transformation, especially now, UNS is a State University as Legal Entity (PTNBH). A partnership is easy to sign, but how to implement the MoU with appropriate activities to cover the Higher Education Tri Dharma, Kampus Merdeka-Merdeka Belajar Program, and supporting activities,” he explains.
Prof. Jamal trusts and believes that the current partnership signatory will bring useful activities and events as mentioned in the MoU.
Meanwhile the High Judge of Litbang Diklat Kumdil Office MA, Dra. Ernida Basry, M.H., hopes that this partnership can help them to achieve the vision and mission of the Supreme Court.
“Hopefully, UNS can be more prosperous and all of our wishes can be accomplished. Let us welcome this partnership with education, training, and community service activities within the Kampus Merdeka-Merdeka Belajar Program,” Ernida states.
With this partnership, both parties can collaborate on research regarding strategic issues. The topic will be adjusted with the needs for the implementation of the duties and functions of the Center of Research and Development for Law and Justice, MA and FH UNS. Additionally, the partnership will allow both parties to get guest speakers during the implementation of partnership activities, either conducted jointly or independently. Humas UNS
