Prof. Jamal added that this partnership supports UNS efforts to implement Kampus Merdeka and Merdeka Belajar program by inviting professionals in various fields. “Therefore, I hope that Bapeten could come to UNS as a professional to teach in UNS because Merdeka Belajar and Kampus Merdeka open wide opportunity for the campus to invite professionals to balance the working world and the educational world,” Prof. Jamal stated in his remark.
Prof. Jamal believes that this collaboration will benefit UNS and hoped that follow-up steps could be taken immediately. Responding to Prof. Jamal’s expectations, Prof. Dr. Jazi Eko Istiyanto hoped that this collaboration would benefit both institutions. This collaboration covers education and research to support the supervision in nuclear energy, community services to disseminate information and public consultation, human resources development, Merdeka Belajar and Kampus Merdeka program implementation, empowerment of experts, exchange of data and information, facilities and infrastructure utilization for technical activities, and hosting scientific meetings and other activities that support each institution’s functions and roles.
