UNS — A student from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta won another accomplishment. Fiska Amanda Mulia won 1st place in the Poster Competition in the National Agritech Festival and Exhibition (Naftex) 2021 after competing closely with tens of other participants.
Fiska stated that she did not expect to win the competition considering the tight rivalry among the participants that came from university students and general people. Therefore, she was delighted to win the competition.
“Delighted because from two poster competitions I participated in, I feel that this is the strictest considering participants are not just university students, but also people in general, and did not expect that in the tight competition (I) could win 1st place,” she explained to uns.ac.id.
Her experiences from previous competitions becomes invaluable for her in participating in the competition held by the Agritechno Business Center Student Organization (ABC) Faculty of Agricultural Technology Universitas Brawijaya.
The poster creation process includes thorough research on the data that will be used in the poster. The student and entrepreneur also looked at poster references and put more creativity into the poster since it was an individual competition.
“I also look for support from my friends because the assessment score is also affected by the total likes (on the post),” Fiska added.
Fiska is an excellent student who won many competitions through her business, Bronislur. Last month she won two places in Business Event Competition (BEC) 2021 held by UKF Entrepreneurship, Universitas Mataram. Fiska won 1st place for Poster Design and 1st place in Business Opinion Column Writing. Humas UNS
