UNS — The Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta Campus Ambassador Community held a Campus Ambassador Election 2021. The election has reached the public test, after passing various other assessment processes, such as written exams and interviews. The test was conducted on Sunday (28/03/2021) at 08.00 WIB in the Assembly Room of Mawa Building UNS.
The UNS Campus Ambassador was conducted annually. In 2021, the total number of participants who undergone the public test was 18 participants, which consist of 11 female participants and 7 male participants. At public tests, all participants are required to answer random pre-determined questions prepared by the committee. Moreover, they must answer the additional questions from the Board of Juries under the topic they choose.
The member of the Board of Juries is Lukman Fahmi Djarwono, S.Ip., M.Si as the Head of Branding Division of UPT Public Relations and Media, Dyah Yuni Kurniawati, S.Sn., M.Sn as the Head of Media and Information Division of the UPT Public Relations and Media, and Markus Ashadi as the Runner-up of Putra Solo 2019.
“Campus Ambassador is part of academic actors in a strategic Higher Education institution to promote the university to be better,” explains Dyah Yuni while delivering a message for the participants of UNS Campus Ambassador 2021.
Further, Dyah Yuni also explains that other than strong character and intellectual competency, the UNS Campus Ambassador must have excellent soft skills and hard skills, which can help them in fulfilling their duty.
Lukman Fahmi also stressed that the UNS Campus Ambassador must capable to be the bridge between the UNS and community.
“The UNS Campus Ambassador should capable to communicate the UNS mission or programs to the community,” he states.
Other than the public test, the next stage for the Ambassador election is the Performance Night that will be conducted on April 3rd, 2021. Meanwhile, Final Night will be conducted on April 10th, 2021. Humas UNS
